Welcome to LAVE Wash (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website (https://lavewash.com) and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Definitions
- “Customer” – Any individual or business using LAVE Wash services.
- “Service” – Laundry pickup, cleaning, and delivery provided by LAVE Wash.
- “Website” – https://lavewash.com and related digital services.
2. Use of Our Services
A. Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
✅ Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent.
✅ Provide accurate and current information.
✅ Have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
B. Service Availability
We currently provide laundry pickup and delivery in [list service areas]. Availability may vary.
3. Orders & Payments
A. Placing an Order
By scheduling a laundry pickup, you confirm that:
✅ All items are suitable for standard laundry processing.
✅ You understand our minimum order requirements and pricing.
B. Payment Terms
- All payments are due at the time of service.
- We only accept credit or debit cards (no cash payments).
- Auto-Pay Memberships: Customers enrolling in a Membership Plan agree to recurring payments until canceled.
C. Price Changes & Additional Charges
- LAVE Wash reserves the right to update pricing at any time with notice.
- Orders under the minimum amount will be charged the minimum fee.
- Additional charges apply for rush service, hang dry, special treatments, or oversized items.
4. Laundry Care & Liability
A. Quality Assurance
LAVE Wash takes great care in handling your laundry, but we cannot guarantee against:
✅ Normal wear and tear (shrinkage, fading, minor tears).
✅ Items left in pockets (please check before sending!).
✅ Pre-existing damage to clothing.
B. Lost or Damaged Items
- If an item is lost or damaged, report it within 14 days of delivery.
- If an item is proven lost or irreparably damaged, LAVE Wash will reimburse up to:
- $750 per Wash & Fold or Hang Dry transaction (based on item condition & age).
- LAVE Wash is not responsible for shrinkage, fading, delicate fabrics, or items washed against manufacturer instructions.
5. Membership Plans
A. No Contract, Flexible Memberships
- Memberships are non-contractual—you may pause, cancel, or restart anytime.
- Unused pickups do not roll over.
- Changes to your membership must be made before the next billing cycle.
B. Payment & Auto-Billing
- Membership fees are charged automatically each billing cycle.
- If payment fails, your account may be suspended until updated.
6. Order Pickup & Delivery
A. Customer Responsibilities
- Laundry must be ready at the designated pickup time.
- Customers must provide safe, accessible drop-off locations.
B. Missed Pickups & Cancellations
- Missed pickups may result in a fee.
- Orders can be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup.
C. Unclaimed Laundry
If an order remains unclaimed for 30 days, it may be donated or disposed of.
7. Refunds & Cancellations
A. Refund Policy
- We offer refunds only if we fail to provide service.
- No refunds for completed services (e.g., dissatisfaction with scent, detergent type).
B. Membership Refunds
- Memberships are non-refundable once a billing cycle begins.
- Customers can pause or cancel future charges at any time.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Your information is collected according to our Privacy Policy.
✅ We do NOT sell personal data.
✅ Payment details are secured through encrypted third-party processors.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use LAVE Wash for:
❌ Illegal activities (fraud, money laundering, abuse of service).
❌ Harassment or threats against staff or customers.
❌ Unauthorized reselling or third-party laundering services.
Violations may result in account suspension or legal action.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- LAVE Wash provides services “as is” and “as available” without guarantees.
- We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or service interruptions.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific laundry service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to hold LAVE Wash harmless against claims related to:
- Loss or damage due to misuse of services.
- Violations of these Terms.
- Third-party disputes involving your laundry.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
A. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by California state law and applicable U.S. federal laws.
B. Dispute Resolution
- Good Faith Resolution: We aim to resolve disputes amicably before legal action.
- Mandatory Arbitration: Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in California.
- Class Action Waiver: Customers waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits against LAVE Wash.
13. Changes to These Terms
LAVE Wash reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
- Updates will be posted on our website with an effective date.
- Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
